How NOT to Start a Painting Business

Wanting to know how to start a painting business? Don't do it like I did it and most people do it. Like many others, I started mine the hard way. I did it the slow way. I learned through trial and error. I did it that way mainly because no other painters wanted to give up any of their trade secrets. They didn't want anyone else to make any money as a self-employed house painter.

Doing estimates was rough in the beginning. I had no idea what I was doing. I used to even feel guilty if I made more money than expected on a job. Finally at one point I figured out how to estimate painting jobs using systems. All of a sudden I was making better money and feeling justified in my bids as well!

Because I knew my estimates were correct I walked away knowing that if I get the job I will make a good profit and I still do today. Going it alone without any help from other skilled painting business owners is NOT the way to start a painting business. http://Painting-Business.com
