Start A Painting Company - Does One Have To Have Painting Experience

Does one have to have painting experience to start a painting company? Not really but it does help of course. I say that because I thought I new all about painting when I first started my company. But I really didn't know much at all let alone running a business.

The real question is do you like to paint? But even that doesn't really count because when I first started out I just wanted my own business and painting seemed to be what I had the most experience in. I do love to paint though.
