House Painting - Choosing Exterior Colors that Look Fantastic

Do you own a new home that you are excited about painting. Or maybe an older home that you would like some killer ideas like as in historic colors. Or are you getting your house spruced up to sell? Choosing the right exterior colors can greatly enhance the look of your house.

Even though I am a professional house painter, I am not that gifted at choosing colors. I, like most other men tend to play it safe with off-whites or basic colors. But there are men and women out there that are really good at putting two or three colors together.

If you plan on doing any house painting still this summer, I suggest getting color brochures that are available at most paint stores. They have them for both interior and exterior projects. The most common are the exterior color brochures like Benjamin Moore has that will show classic 3-color combinations that have been used on homes for years.

House painting done right will make your house look like the best home on the block whereas some people's choice in colors makes them look like they really need help.
