Starting a Painting Business

Starting a painting business is easier than you think. I started mine with just a handful of painting tools and an old beater gas hog of a car. I worked out of the trunk and no one cared. They just liked my cheap rates I had back then as a newbie house painter.

I got my first house painting estimate set up my first day and a week later I did the estimate for some exterior trim work and got the job. He gave me a down payment for paint and supplies and I was on my first painting job!

I used to worry about if I could get painting business during the winter. I did and I still do. I used to worry about if I could stay busy during the holidays. I did and I still do. I used to worry about if I could keep getting painting work. I did and I still do!
