Painting Business - How to screw it up and still make money
I had someone recently comment on one of my e-mails. In it I wrote that back when I first began to start a painting business, I really didn't know what I was doing, yet I made it anyways as a successful painting business owner.
Even though I had painted my own house and worked once for a painter (he wasn't around much) over the years, I knew squat about how to paint. But again, even though I was truly green, I still made money.
I learned a little here and there from other painters by going to contractor's breakfast's whenever they were going on, but the rest I had to learn on my own. It took a while to get things like estimating and technique down.
I always wished I could sit down with a professional and pay him a hundred bucks to pick his brain. It took half my career to get my estimating down to a science. If you would like to "cut to the chase" and learn how to advertise and estimate like a pro click here now: http://painting-business.com
